Session Title: Is the CPRE Right for Me, and How Hard Can It Be?

Description: Are you thinking about earning your CPRE certification but wondering if you really need it and how much time and effort it will take? In this fast-paced 30-minute session, the importance of the CPRE will be summarized, along with ways it can be leveraged for personal and organizational benefit. The benefits of certification will be followed by an overview of the executive knowledge areas that the CPRE certification and exam are based on. Participants will learn some tried and true ways to use their experience and the “Management of Park and Recreation Agencies” resource to study for and pass the CPRE examination. The presenter will be fresh from the exam in December 2023 and will share his insights and tips for preparation, study and test-taking.
