Jill Geller currently lives in Roseville, California, where she serves as the city’s director of parks, recreation and libraries (PRL). PRL is proud to have been a Class III National Gold Medal Finalist in 2022 and a Class II Finalist in 2023. Prior to Roseville, Geller spent her career at Johnson County Park and Recreation District (JCPRD) in Johnson County, Kansas. While serving as JCPRD executive director, the agency was twice reaccredited (2014 and 2019) and received the National Gold Medal in 2017. Geller has been recognized with the Distinguished Fellow Award from the Kansas Recreation and Park Association and the Professional Fellow Award from the National Association of County Park and Recreation Officials. Geller has dedicated her life to the field of parks and recreation. She is a Certified Park and Recreation Executive and was inducted into the American Academy for Park and Recreation Administration in 2019.
