Genevieve Jennai, CPRP, received her bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies with minors in psychology and education in 2003 from Salisbury State University. She currently works as a therapeutic recreation coordinator with the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC), Department of Parks and Recreation, Prince George's County, where she oversees programs for people with disabilities. Jennai is an active member of her state recreation and parks association, most recently serving as equity officer. Jennai’s passion for diversity, equity and inclusion extends into her volunteer work on the M-NCPPC Diversity Council for the past four years where she has been a vice chair, chair, and co-chair, helping to change workplace culture. She is a member of the Mid-Atlantic ADA Center’s Leadership Network and Title II network. In her free time, she enjoys diamond painting, reading, pilates, and spending time with her husband and two daughters.
