Performance and Operations Specialist | City of Atlanta Department of Parks and Recreation

Sabina Kasumova is a performance and operations specialist for City of Atlanta Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR). Before transitioning to DPR, Kasumova served as the public engagement specialist for Park Pride, developing the community engagement strategy for Activate ATL: Recreation & Parks for All, DPR’s 10-Year Comprehensive Master Plan. Prior to her time at Park Pride, she was the outreach coordinator for the nonprofit Live Thrive Atlanta at the Center for Hard to Recycle Materials. Kasumova started her career with a focus on sustainable materials management and environmental education. Kasumova is a bilingual LEED Green Associate and holds a Bachelor of Science in environmental policy and education with a minor in environmental design from the University at Buffalo. She has more than eight years of experience in environmental advocacy and working to advance green initiatives.
