Dr. Laura Walker is an Assistant Professor of Management in the Sorrell College of Business at Troy University. She holds a Ph.D. in Management from the University of North Texas (UNT) and Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management from Clemson University. Prior to joining the faculty at Troy University in 2021, Dr. Walker was a Lecturer in UNT’s Recreation, Event, and Sport Management program and held professional roles in recreation and special event planning and programming.
