Larry Barabino, Jr. is the Chief Executive Officer of the New Orleans Recreation Development (NORD) Commission. He manages the day-to-day operations of NORD which consist of a $20M Budget, over 170 facilities and a staff of over 300 employees during the summer months. Under Larry’s leadership, NORD received its Commission for Accreditation of Parks and Recreation Agencies (CAPRA) Re-Accreditation which has been awarded to only 2% of Park and Recreations agency nationally.

Larry is a native New Orleanian and a class of 1996 graduate of Southern University at New Orleans and a May 2024 MBA graduate of Southern University and A&M College.
