Amber Rivera is an experienced Cartographer who works at the Albuquerque Area Office. She has a bachelor's degree from the University of New Mexico, which she received in 2021 in Environmental Planning and Design. She has a strong interest in the recreation realm, and this interest was sparked by her earlier experience working as an intern with the recreation group.

Amber has a personal love for the outdoors and considers outdoor recreation an essential part of her life. Being a cartographer, she loves to use her skills to create maps that tell a story, and she is passionate about her work. When she's not working, you can find Amber spending her free time at farmer’s markets or walking her Blue Heeler, Owl.
