Matt Carusona, a graduate of Sacred Heart University and NC State University, holds degrees in Political Science, Psychology, and a Master's in Parks, Recreation, Sports, and Tourism Management. He is a Certified Park and Recreation Professional (CPRP) and has presented at over 100 professional events, including the NRPA Conference and Brand+Aid Marketing Summit. Matt has collaborated across diverse industries, leading projects for organizations like the NCAA, TEDx, and City Parks Alliance. Since 2022, he has served CEO of the Parks Collaborative and as Director for Revenue Development Management and Supervisors Management Schools, applying project management principles to enhance planning and support for course development. Spending the previous 12 years leading programs and education with the NC Recreation and Park Association. Matt is committed to the field of Parks and Recreation by supporting communities, advancing leadership, and enhancing well-being through advocacy and strategic consulting in the parks and recreation sector.
