Abigail Johnson (she/her) is a trail equity specialist and Conservation Legacy fellow in the National Park Service Office of Outdoor Recreation. In this role, Abigail supports adaptive recreation and accessibility priorities of the Office of Outdoor Recreation while working closely with the NPS Park Accessibility for Visitors and Employees (PAVE) Program, other NPS staff and partners. Her projects include developing resources and trainings on adaptive mobility devices, adaptive recreation and adaptive equipment loan programs in parks, as well as engaging youth in supporting adaptive recreation. Abigail is a recent graduate of Dartmouth College, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in quantitative social science with a focus in geography and a minor in human-centered design.
