Graduated from Auburn University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice and law enforcement. Drafted into the National Football League (NFL) by the Seattle Seahawks in 1987, Agee had an eight-year NFL career with back-to-back Super Bowl Championships. He retired from the NFL in 1995. He co-founded Project GEAR (a nonprofit organization setup to stir young people away from destructive lifestyles). His public service career path includes positions with the Lee County Juvenile Court director of leisure services. He retired in 2021 with 26 years of public service. Agee is currently serving as chairman of the ARPA Recreational Sports Committee. He received the “Mike Spain Professional of the Year Award” from ARPA (the highest honor a park and recreation professional can receive from his peers). He has been married for 36 years with three children and four grandchildren.
