Christi Giles-Reed is a dedicated leader in the field of parks and recreation, currently serving as a division manager with the City of Dallas Recreation Department. With a career spanning more than 15 years, Christi has been committed to enhancing communities through recreation. Her decade-long tenure with the City of Dallas speaks volumes about her dedication and passion for serving her community. She is the recipient of the Dallas Recreation Departmental Director's Award, highlighting her exceptional leadership and commitment to excellence. Christi has actively engaged with the National Recreation and Park Association; she has served as a CAPRA visitor, mentor, and on the CPRP/E certification committee. She recently served as a chair with the Local Host Committee for the 2023 NRPA Annual Conference in Dallas, contributing to the success of the event and showcasing the city's recreational offerings. Outside of work, Christi enjoys traveling with her husband and two kids.
