Senior Park Planner | City of Lynnwood

Monica Thompson is a licensed landscape architect with more than 20 years of experience. She serves as the senior park planner managing long-range planning and park capital projects. She co-led the NRPA grant-funded ParksLove project in Lynnwood, Washington, which included robust outreach to people of color in the community to ensure all park needs were represented in a new, comprehensive capital project list and centered community members in the development of a decision-making tool to transparently prioritize future park system investments.
