Kari Miller-Ortiz, a former US Army Sergeant, overcame a life-changing accident to excel in sitting volleyball and wheelchair basketball. Her dedication led to becoming a US Paralympic Team member, winning multiple medals. Kari's passion for equity on and off the court led her to establish adaptive programs for injured service members. She serves on the USOPC Athlete Council and leads diversity and inclusion efforts as Move United's Director of People and Culture. Recently, she was inducted into the USA Volleyball Hall of Fame.
