Matt Enoch, CPRE is the Fort Riley Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation Community Recreation Division Chief. He was born and raised in Manhattan, KS. He has twenty-seven years of service in the park and recreation profession, seventeen of those with Army. He has B.S. in Park Resource Management and Master of Public Administration degrees from Kansas State University. He led three Army installations through national recreation accreditation, created a tool and system for measuring programming benefits used Army-wide, and established new programs and services for Spouses of Deployed Soldiers. He led Fort Knox in 2013 and Fort Riley in 2020 to achievement of the National Gold Medal Award. Matt served as the Department of Defense representative on the Commission for Accreditation of Park and Recreation Agencies from 2010 through 2018, was the Armed Forces Recreation Network Chair in 2014 and was honored as the Army Recreation Employee of the Year for 2015. Matt has written articles for professional publications and has been a national conference session speaker and webinar presenter. He lives in Manhattan with his wife Alicia and their children Francis, Reah and Mark.
