This session is presented by Karen. But don't worry, she isn't really a 'Karen', she just has to handled lot of them. She currently works as the Programs Branch Manager for the Fairfax County Park Authority in VA. Karen is a Certified Park and Recreation Professional, who serves on the Virginia Recreation and Park Society's Board of Directors. She has also work on projects such as TEDxCollege Park, strategic master plans, and developed a robust financial assistance policy to assist with DEI initiatives. She has worked for two Gold Medal winning and CARPA accredited agencies. Through her work in Parks and Recreation, she has managed an array of programs and staff, in which her experience has allowed her to become familiar with the best practices for dealing with difficult customers. She has developed trainings that ensure that her staff receive the tools they need to be successful at customer service on all levels.
