Matt is a civil engineer and active transportation planner at LandDesign with a focus on developing GIS network analysis tools to inform equitable investment decisions into improved pedestrian and bicycle networks. He is developing the Park Network Analysis Model and other urban analysis tools as part of his master's thesis at UNC Charlotte. His experience includes designing the Ballantyne Reimagined project, the largest real estate investment in the City of Charlotte's history, and is managing the master planning study of The Seam, a 50-mile planned greenway that will connect Statesville to Charlotte, NC with cross-state connectivity into South Carolina.
