Justin Cutler, is the Commissioner of Parks & Recreation for the City of Atlanta with over 20 years of experiences in local government. He has built organizational cultures focused on continuous improvement. Connected the dots between health care and local parks & recreation through the implementation of evidence based chronic disease management programs to improve health outcomes for communities. Prior to his tenure in Atlanta, he has served in Seattle, WA; Westminster, CO; and across Oregon. He has been involved with professional associations serving on several boards, commissions, and volunteer groups, including GPRED, a parks & recreation think tank, Colorado Parks & Recreation Association, and the Oregon Recreation & Parks Association. He has presented at numerous state and national conferences on youth program evaluation, customer service, continuous improvement, and chronic disease program integration.
