Allison Colman (she/her) serves as the Senior Director of Programs at the National Recreation and Park Association. Allison oversees NRPA's grants management and technical assistance practices and leads NRPA’s efforts to help park and recreation professionals establish Community Wellness Hubs that advance health equity, improve health outcomes, and enhance quality of life across seven dimensions of well-being. Prior to joining NRPA, Allison worked in the recreation field facilitating health and wellness programs across all populations. Combined with her work at the local and national levels, Allison has extensive experience scaling evidence-based health and wellness interventions and advancing equitable, systems-change, and community-driven approaches to improve community health and well-being.
