A 19-year parks and recreation professional with an undergrad from Hardin-Simmons University in Sports, Fitness, and Leisure Management and a Master's from Western Illinois University in Recreation, Parks, and Tourism Administration. Currently the Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of Pflugerville, TX. Previously served in roles as the Director of Parks and Recreation in Hutto, TX, the Rec Superintendent in Missouri City, TX, and the Community Center Supervisor in Fort Worth, TX.

I am a former State, Regional, and National Young Professional of the Year Award winner. I have served on the NRPA's Program Committee for 13 years. I was previously the chair of the Young Professional Network, A Young Professional Fellowship winner, an Academy Extern winner, and a Texas Tex-tern winner.

Have presented at state, regional and national conferences, been published in multiple NRPA's Parks and Rec Magazines, and volunteered in various state and national leadership opportunities throughout my time in our industry. Served on the NRPA BOD Strategic Task Force for 2014-2016, where the NRPA's Three Pillars concept was created and was twice highlighted by NRPA's Parks and Rec Magazine as the "future of our field."

Married for 23 years to my wife Hannah, and we have four kids.
