As a recreation professional with 21 years of program planning experience, Brinn specializes in senior programs. During her 11-year tenure in Portsmouth, she has found space and opened a senior center, managed it and later garnered support and worked to bring a new $4 Million senior center online for the community. Brinn is a leader in New Hampshire on aging issues, President of the board for the NH Association of Senior Centers, lead staff on Age-Friendly Portsmouth and a Reframing Aging Trainer.

She recently made the switch to become the Assistant Recreation Direction for the City of Portsmouth, of which the Senior Activity Center is one of their facilities. Brinn continues to design and implement programs for all ages as well as wear her parade crown as the City's holiday parade coordinator. A woman of many crowns, indeed!

Brinn started her career in Boston at the New England Aquarium as a volunteer manager supporting 300 volunteers donating over 100,000 hours of service annually. She keeps her love of helping animals alive by volunteering for the Marine Mammal Rescue Team at the Seacoast Science Center. Originally from Cape Cod, Brinn moved to New Hampshire in 1999 and lives in Exeter with her husband and 4 children.
