Kathya Avila Choquez is the Latino Community Outreach Specialist for Bend Park and Recreation District (BPRD). Kathya started to engage the Spanish speakers community nine years ago. She is now is one of the most well-respected community leaders in Central Oregon. Kathya has a personalized approach when working with the Latino families in Bend community, she strives to build their confidence, solid relationships and trust that they share with parks and recreation services and programming.
