Description:
This session will provide all levels of participants with the knowledge and practices to better include individuals with disabilities in existing programs throughout the NRPA network. Move United, a partner with NRPA through its Inclusion Champion program, will highlight its free resources, including an online learning management system, that will provide programmers with tools to increase inclusion in their programs. Move United also will spotlight case studies of successful partnerships and involvement within its network that have elevated inclusive opportunities in the community.
Learning Objectives:
1. After attending this session, attendees should understand where to find resources on how to modify programs to be inclusive of individuals with disabilities.
2. After attending this session, attendees should understand where and how to seek out partnerships to increase the inclusion of individuals with disabilities.
3. After attending this session, attendees should be able to train other team members on how to embody inclusive best practices.

One-hour education sessions (0.1 CEU) will be delivered as either Talks, Sandboxes, or Clinics.
Clinics and Sandboxes will be smaller sessions and on a first-come, first-serve basis, so make sure to arrive early!
- Talks will be delivered as lectures or panel sessions.
- Clinics will focus on applying concepts to real-life examples through workshop activities.
- Sandboxes are a great networking opportunity that invite participants to talk shop, compare notes and swap advice around hot topics in the field.
Twenty of the one-hour education sessions will be available on-demand through the conference app while also delivered in person.
