Learn the ins and outs of social media and how you can elevate your media presence solely with your smartphone. Gain tips and tricks on maximizing platforms and content creation apps without breaking the bank. Every park and recreation department is working to serve its residents in the best possible way. Even with a restricted budget or narrow audience, everyone can take their social media presence to new heights.
Learning Objectives:
1. Evaluate your department’s marketing budget and create realistic goals for marketing in the park and recreation field.
2. Identify challenges in creating a social media presence and learn best practices on consistent content creation for your programs.
3. Observe current social media trends and translate them into promoting your department’s programs and events.
