Description:
A panel of current and past directors of the Dallas Park and Recreation Department will discuss their respective role in recovering, developing and sustaining the park system. This session will highlight the success of the Dallas Park and Recreation Department as a result of the continued engagement from past directors. This panel encompasses 86 years of combined Dallas Park and Recreation Department experience. Attendees will learn how longevity and continuity has benefited the park system and allowed the completion of strategic plans and legacy projects.

2. Attendees will learn how continuity resulted in long-term sustainable partnerships.

Clinics and Sandboxes will be smaller sessions and on a first-come, first-serve basis, so make sure to arrive early!
- Talks will be delivered as lectures or panel sessions.
- Clinics will focus on applying concepts to real-life examples through workshop activities.
- Sandboxes are a great networking opportunity that invite participants to talk shop, compare notes and swap advice around hot topics in the field.
