Description:
We all have been in a space where it was uncomfortable. We all have wanted to speak our mind, tell our story and relate our experiences while sharing our vision. This session will help you learn to find ways to make your voice heard while also teaching you ways to stand up for yourself and others in a professional environment. Direct is not rude and quiet is not polite – but how do we find the balance? Come learn from ladies who keep their foot on the gas and are making good trouble in their organizations, careers and within our field. This session is where passion meets purpose, and we will inspire you to be more for yourself and others.
Learning Objectives:
1. Participants will learn to understand their worth, how to use their voice and hold themselves accountable to higher standards, no matter their circumstances.
2. Participants will learn aspects of self-awareness and acquire tips and tricks on how to be heard, including how to be comfortable within conflict while speaking their truth.
3. Participants will leave understanding the importance of advocating for themselves and others, as well as empowered to be and do more for those we serve.
