Description:
Have you ever felt like recreation and maintenance were speaking different languages? In today’s world, that can be due to language barriers — perceived or real — educational differences, life experiences or varied approaches to work. To build relationships with your co-workers, you must first identify those barriers through observation, conversation, building trust and follow-up.
This session will give you tools to build relationships and shared respect within your own organizations, which will help you align outcomes to achieve the best results. Failing to do this will contribute to poor results and strained relationships, impacting long-term organizational success.
Learning Objectives:
1. After attending this session, attendees should be able to identify their biases.
2. After attending this session, attendees should be able to identify gaps in communication.
3. After attending this session, attendees should be able to adapt to different personalities.
